Nordic Championship for
Flatcoated Retrievers

The Danish Flatcoat Society hereby invites
Flatcoated Retrievers in all Nordic countries to participate
in the Flatcoated Retriever Nordic Field trial Championship
2008, in Denmark.
The field trial will be an
Official International
Field Trial with CACIT,
and will be the first of its kind organized by the Danish
Flatcoat Society. The title “Nordic Champion for Flatcoated
Retrievers” will be unofficial and will be awarded the winner
of the field trial.
The event will take place at Bognæs, in
the close proximity of Roskilde, approximately 30 km from
Copenhagen. The work in the field trial will consist of walk
ups/drives and the game hunted on the day will primarily be
pheasants and ducks.

The Society has invited two International
judges. Keld Jørgensen & Lars Mertz has kindly accepted this
invitation, and will be judging the dogs.

The field trial is open for entry for
Danish and foreign Flatcoated Retrievers qualified for entry
in the Danish”Vinder A” Field trials. Foreign
participants must be qualified for entry at Field trials
(warm game tests). Participants
will be notified directly by mail and the result of the
selection will be posted on the Danish Flatcoat Society
website.
The Championships have a limited number of
entries, and the 16 entries will be randomly selected two
days after the last entry date, September 1st
2008. (The dog entered must be registered with the kennel
club in the country they represent).
Entered dogs not picked in the first round
of selection, will be listed as reserves.
The Society has organized meals and
refreshments throughout the day of the field trial, for a
price of 125 DKK, payment due on the day of entry.
